Processes
Technifab utilizes a number of process technologies to transform the foam from its raw state into a useable product.

• Fecken-Kirfel foam slitting/skiving equipment, both compression and vacuum table machines for converting to the required thickness
• A 5-axis and a 2-axis, 2 head water jet cutter for straight or complex geometries
• Die cutting presses
• Heat laminating, vacuum forming, saw cutting, CNC routing, and PSA laminating conversion equipment
• Thermoforming, thermo molding, compression molding and injection molding, including mold tooling design and build capabilities
• Rapid prototyping

Quality
Technifab has a complete quality system approved to SAE-AS9100 and it is approved by a number of aviation/aerospace OEM’s including Boeing. Technifab is capable of providing an FAI per AS9102 for all aerospace products we manufacture. Technifab can verify dimensions of complex molded shapes using our CMM measuring equipment.
